Madonna Tickets Manchester 2006

music icon Madonna has confirmed 2 gigs in Manchester
in August 2004, her first in the city since playing the Hacienda
club in 1984. The first concert will take place at the Manchester
Evening News (MEN) Arena on Sunday 15 August, and was the first
confirmed gig in the UK outside London.
Concert Tickets have already gone on sale. They cost from £75 up to £350.
UPDATE: Madonna will be playing a second concert at the MEN
Arena in Manchester on August 14th 2004! Tickets go on sale on Friday 18th
June. Ticket prices will be from £85 to £250
including booking fee.
"We have been in conversation with Maddona's people for some
time, and we had confirmation early on Monday - we have also confirmed the ticket sale date, which is Friday," a British
spokeswoman for MEN Arena said.
Madonna is embarking on a world tour this year on the back of
her recent album, American Life.
She has already announced shows in
London on 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26 August 2004. Madonna is
also playing a gig
in Ireland at Dublin's Slane Castle, which takes place on
29 August, 1 gig in Portugal and 3 concerts
in Paris.
The 2004 Re-Invention
Tour has already kicked-off and is hugely popular with fans and critics.
Madona's last tour dates in the UK
were in 2001 and tickets were sold out.
Her current tour was launched in Los
Angeles on 24 May. The superstar will tour around the US
and Canada for more than two months before heading to Europe
for the final leg of "ReInvention". |
