Madonna Tickets Portugal 2006 Concert

Madonna has confirmed 1 more European concert in Portugal as part of the -already hugely successful- 2004 ReInvention World Tour. The concert date has been officially confirmed as September 12, 2004. The venue is the Atlantic Pavilion in the capital Lisbon.

Concert Tickets go on sale on Friday June 11 and are expected to sell out quickly.

Madonna is embarking on a 120-day world tour this year, backing her recent album, American Life.

Madonna has already announced concerts in Manchester at the MEN Arena as well as in London on 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26 August 2004. She is also performing one-off concerts in Holland and in Ireland at Dublin's Slane Castle, which takes place on 29 August and 3 concerts in Paris.

The "2004 Re-Invention" was launched in Los Angeles, California on 24 May. The Material Girl will tour around the US and Canada for more than two months before heading to Europe for the final leg of "ReInvention".

The set list is a career retrospective rather than focus on newer material. The Material Girl performs most of her classics.

The tour is set to take around $120 million, with an attendance around the 920.000 mark, according to Reuters. The 2001 tour, produced by CCE, grossed $75 million from 47 sellouts, according to Billboard Boxscore.

Most concert tickets have already been sold.

Lisbon

Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is a fascinating and comprehensive city. It is also known as "the town of the seven hills".

The city has privileged natural conditions 10 Kms. from the river Tejo's mouth. At Lisbon, the river broadens into an inland sea, Mar de Palha. The sea is close by, Estoril and Cascais just half an hour away by train.

The venue of the 2004 Madonna concert, The Atlantic Pavilion, was inaugurated in 1998 and is considered one of Portugal's most spectacular arenas.
