U2 Tickets London concert 2005




U2, the biggest band in the world, are to play a number of London concerts on their forthcoming 2005 Vertigo world tour, it has been announced. The stars will play a show at London's Twickenham Stadium on 18 June and another on 19 June 2005. Additional U2 London concerts cannot be ruled out.

The superstars rehearse intensively for the Vertigo Tour and are expected to provide a memorable show to the lucky fans who can get a ticket. Expect a dazzling stage show and one of the best live spectacles you're ever likely to see. Rock Concerts don't get much better than this!

U2's last tour dates in London and the UK were in 2001. Tickets for the new concerts have already gone on sale and a single ticket will cost £50 (face value) up to £750 (for late bookings and VIP seats) or even higher if tickets are sold out.

The first concert of the 2005 Vertigo Tour will be in San Diego, California on 28 March. The 210 strong crew accompanying U2 will be travelling around the US and Canada for more than 8 weeks before coming to Europe and then returning to North America in the autumn.

U2's concerts in London and Paris are not their only scheduled dates outside north America. 2 U2 concert in Manchester and 2 U2 concerts in Ireland have also been confirmed since and some concert tickets are still available.

Over the past months U2 have been busy promoting their multi-million selling album Vertigo and receiving awards. In early 2005, U2 performed a one-off show in America after receiving 3 Grammy awards for their new album, Vertigo.

Tickets to this event as well as most concert tickets for the 2005 U2 Vertigo Tour are already sold out.
